Die in Köln ansässige Big Band Convention Köln unter der Leitung meines Freundes Stefan Pfeifer-Galilea spielt meist - wie der Name schon sagt - konventionelle Big Band Musik. Das musikalische Niveau ist sehr hoch, weil einerseits hervorragende Musiker der Kölner Jazzszene mitwirken, andererseits, weil die Arrangements aussergewöhnlich gut sind.
The Big Band Convention Cologne is lead by my friend Stefan Pfeifer-Galilea and, as the name already says, plays ”conventional" Big Band music. But, the level is very high, because very good musicians are in the band and the arrangements are exceptional.
